This precious crescent-shaped bone or side salad dish from S Hancock and Sons is a great representative of the china pieces from first quarter of 1900s.

Pattern: Ye Olde Winchester, very similar to the Old Woodstock. An exotic bird is accented in the center of the white porcelain in multicolors of blue, green, red and yellow in blue transfer floral band and similar blue florals around the rim.

Brand: Corona Ware Sampson Handcock and Sons, made in England.

The dish measures 8.5 inches in length, 5 inches in width, and 1 inch in height, and weighs 10 ounces. Condition shows wear in a way of utensil marks, and about three areas with glaze chipping on the rim with two of them being small flakes. They are unobtrusive and all shown in pictures from different sides.
