Fossil Shark Teeth from the Carcharodon megalodon species, originated from the  Blackrock Formation of Beaumaris, Victoria, Australia. 
The tooth is 56mm on its longest edge and is estimated to be 3.5 to 6 million years old, dating back to the Late Miocene to Pliocene era. 
The tooth was recovered in Port Phillip Bay, near 'O'keefes Boatshed' Beaumaris Victoria Australia.

Originally described by Agassiz in 1843, this specimen is a rare and valuable addition to any fossil collection.
