Description: A complete set of colour illustrated cigarette cards featuring different motor cars of the 1920's and 30's., The reverse of each card provides textual information on each of the fifty different cars that are featured. Note: This is the FIRST of two standard sized cigarette card series titled "Motor Cars" released by John Player and Sons in mainland Britain (a series was also released in Ireland)..
Condition: Cards are in Good condition. Backs of cards are clear and legible. None of the cards has any defacement, tears,creasing, or fraying. Cards rated as good due to signs of handling to some of the cards. (See rating guide below).

Ratings Guide:
Poor: Torn or excessively creased cards, damage to front or back of card. Very dirty or grimy. Very frayed edges.
Fair: Signs of considerable handling, quite dirty, slight damage to cards or card edges.
Good: Some slight signs of age or wear. Corners with some rounding. Some discolouration (through aging, not stains). No tears or creasing.
Very Good: Clean cards, reasonably sharp corners. No damage to cards, no fraying of edges, a bit of aging, no grime or excessive handling marks
Excellent: Cards are looking as new. Cards have been handled but no visible marking, edge wearing, or corner rounding is evident.
