Up for sale, a 1998 Fender Stratocaster ‘62 vintage reissue model ST62-70TX in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original gigbag and serialized hangtag. This upper-tiered “Crafted in Japan” model was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and is uncommon outside of its country of origin, featuring a trio of USA-made Fender Texas Special single coil pickups and a custom color Ocean Turquoise Metallic gloss finish.

Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard. The Fender Texas Special single coils match vintage spec with black fiber bobbins, cloth-covered leads and staggered alnico magnets, delivering a bevy of sparkling classic Strat tonalities with a slightly aggressive overwound snap. The bridge pickup is bold and chewy, and the neck has a full, bell-like quality. This ST62-70TX weighs 7lbs 12oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
