Tussah Damask is a beautiful design which was found in an untapped section of the Zoffany archive. Probably an early twentieth century document however like most damasks it would have been based on an earlier design. Using a combination of lustrous inks the ground has been created to give a beautiful tussah silk effect and combined with a special emboss to capture the fabric texture.
