This is a Vintage Retro 1970's Cased Portable Imperial Signet Typewriter.

This typewriter is in used condition and is in working order. But requires ribbon and if you prefers good service will give very good performance.

It comes with it's own clip on casing, which gives it portability. The casing is plastic, with an integrated handle. The typewriter itself has a light green body. The keys are intact, but some are sticking because of ageing . some of them have changed colour though time, which gives a great look to the typewriter. The top of the typewriter is marked: IMPERIAL. Towards the back it is marked: SIGNET.At the back of the typewriter is a metal plaque, which reads: MADE IN JAPAN. This typewriter would be ideal for a creative writer or author. It is also a very attractive looking typewriter, so could be used as a display item.
