Here I have five vintage, new, never used ink blotters. These were used to absorb excess ink when writing with fountain pens. Much more common pre 1950's when the ball-point pen was invented. Many places passed them out for advertising. This is one advertising Wampole's Creo-Terpin Compound for coughs due to colds. It was passed out by Goodfellow's Pharmacy in Castle Rock, Washington.
