The radio has been made MARS/CAP/GMRS compatible by a licensed technician holding a General Radiotelephone (PG233570) and Radiotelegraph (T2GB047481) license (Me). Used to be a First Class ticket until the FCC dumbed it down. No offense to anyone out there holding one of these tickets.
