2008 All-Star Game All-Star design #2 Statues on Parade pin - AL NL logos
This MLB licensed double post and butterfly clip backed pin measures about 1" wide, by 2-1/2" long. and is rimmed/backed in shiny silver tones. Included in the design is an All-Star logo, the American League A.L. and National League N.L. logos, subway cars, and blue and white stars on red and blue backgrounds. Another All Star logo is on the tablet in her left arm. This pin is one of a series of 42, each design of which replicates the Statues on Parade statues. There is one pin for each of the different 8-1/2' Statue of Liberty statues that were set up around New York City. Finding all the 9" replica statues, aside from the New York related team designs and All Star Game itself designs, is difficult and next to impossible, but the lapel pins are even worse. Check out my other listings for the availability of other teams in both the statues and pins. At the bottom is the "Major League Baseball" version of the 2008 All-Star Game logo.
