A beautiful vintage handwoven wool wall hanging  by Hungarian textile artist Éva Németh (1930-2019)

This beautiful Scandinavian style wall hanging tapestry was designed by Hungarian textile artist Éva Németh. Éva's designs were produced by the Ziola company in Hungary and were primarily sold in Scandinavia; in Denmark in a department store Illums Bolighus in Copenhagen. 

Éva developed a unique style that was deeply rooted in scandinavian folklore and frequently used motifs of horses, birds and flowers. These masterpieces are still highly sought after, valuable items.
