Martin Performing Artist GPCPA4 Sunburst 2013 Electro-Acoustic Guitar

Here for sale we have a Martin Performing Artist GPCPA4 Electro-Acoustic guitar in Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2013, this guitar features an all-solid construction comprising a Sitka Spruce top, Sapele back and sides, Select Hardwood neck and 20 fret Richlite fingerboard with matching bridge. This guitar is equipped with Chrome Martin sealed tuning machines, undersaddle piezo pickup and a Fishman F1 Analog on-board preamp with master volume, master tone and phase controls, along with an on-board tuner. 

The Select Hardwood neck plays well, with the Performing Artist profile sitting comfortably in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Satin finish to the rear has begun to polish up through the years and offers a sense of familiarity when transitioning up and down the neck. The Richlite fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface right the way up the register, and in conjunction with the traditional Martin 16" radius strikes a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending.

The voice of the Martin Performing Artist GPCPA4 is very well balanced, delivering a warm yet detailed low end, soft mid range and open, articulate top end. Its all-solid construction ensures a beautiful resonance, projecting well and providing a wide and sensitive dynamic range. This makes the guitar suitable for a wide range of styles with both strumming and fingerstyle playing sounding distinctive yet delicate. Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light scratching and denting is present to the front face, rear face and top side edge, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the top of the rear face. More noticeable denting which has taken away some material is present to the top side edge.

Neck: Overall very good condition. Denting and scratching is present to the rear of the neck, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the bass side of the rear of the neck and can be lightly felt in playing position.

Body: Overall good condition. Denting and scratching is present to all surfaces of the body and is most noticeable to the front face lower bout.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable. No truss rod tool included (hex 5mm)
