All-original vintage and highly collectible. So much so that the La Fonda chair is in the permanent collection of the world's top museums, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, (LACMA, see last photo). Alexander Girard designed every piece of the La Fonda del Sol restaurant, from tableware to chairs.

Overall great vintage condition with age appropriate wear, notably minor seam separation on the back of the seat of the naugahyde shell and some stains as well as abrasions and impressions on the naugahyde, the latter of which should go away in time. Already depicted and reflected in the discounted price.
The seat cushion is still soft and not petrified like most vintage chairs, and there are no cracks to the shell.
