Gloucester Ira Welsh, 1922-2014

Gloucester Welsh lived at various times of her life lived in Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Greece and Cyprus.

This is one of about 100 pictures from this artist.

Her paintings generally depict specific scenes from these places in a variety of delicate watercolour shades, stronger oil brush strokes, pastels and pen and ink. The locations are mainly in and around Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia), Greece and South Africa. She also painted some thought-provoking abstract and semi-abstract pieces.

The painting is framed and in good condition.
