Certified by Karl Stephens sold to my parents probably in 1980.

***NOTE: Listing has been revised after research into the grading scale used by Karl Stephens.***

RE his certification rubric - copy includes mispellings:

"We have received questions from time to time about our grading of uncirculated coins.  Wile we don’t use MS numbers in our lists as a rule, we do have a  verbal description that corresponds to each number.  Fortunately, the price ratio versus MS# on foreign coins is miniscule.  For clarity, and for comparing on coin with another, we do feel as accurate a description as possible is desirable."

Description on the package says:

1959 25 Schilling

Austria

Nice BU

Y-102

Johann

S

From Numista:

100th Anniversary of the Death of Archduke Johann

* According to Karl Stephens website, Nice BU translates to an MS number of 61. Link is here: https://karlstephensinc.com/grading-notes/

Coin has been kept in a safe deposit box for 40 years.

Note, I am not a coin person. I am selling these from a private family collection. Yes, I will combine shipping as coins are wee. :)
