In kit form (This means you MUST assemble it yourself), you get the bare PCB (Printed Circuit Board), and the parts that you need to "stuff" into it, and solder together.
It takes a "nominal" 12V DC input (nominal means ~9V to 18V), and outputs a higher voltage, that is settable from 80 to 350V, by means of a single external resistor (Rx). Or it can be setup to replicate the older NK01, and vary its output from 45 to 190V. The value of that resistors sets the regulated output voltage. See the table in the photo section. Maximum output power is 5.5V, with 12V in. Higher output power capable, with proportionally higher input voltage. Potentially upto 8W, with 18V in.
Note: As of Feb 1, 2022: The NK01 series has been discontinued, and replaced with the NK02. The NK02 can be set up in two ways. With R3 installed at 392K (or 390K), the output can be set to vary from 80V to 350V. Or it can be wired to emulate the older NK01 and vary from 45V to 190V, by simply making R3 a dead short (ZERO ohms, small piece of wire), or any resistor value 1K or less.
If used with older kits, such as the Nixie Thermometer (NT2RA), or Nixie Clock Kit (NC5C), wire this kit in NK01 Mode (R3 = zero ohms; 1000 ohms or less, counts as zero).

Board measures 1.2in x 1.2in (30 x 30mm). Not really mounted, but intended to be plugged into an 8-pin Single In-Line (SIP) female header, with 0.100" (2,54mm) pitch.
All kits are sorted and stored, in individual anti-static bags. They are shipped that way to the customer.
It's a "KIT" !!! That means you get a bare board, and parts. You must solder it together ! That's what KIT means !

International shipments will only have their "Customs Declaration" number listed, unless the foreign buyer chooses "Registered Mail". With "Registered Mail", the package can be tracked. "Registered Mail", will incur and additional $15.00 US to the total cost. If you want this option please contact me and wait to be invoiced. If you just pay for it (without being invoiced), the item will be shipped without tracking. eBay only required that I (the seller) prove that I shipped it. A "Customs Declaration" will satisfy that requirement. Its your nickel. From NOW ON, if its lost and you DID NOT pay for registered mail, then THAT'S IT !
There has been a history of delayed packages to some European Union countries. Actually, only Germany. Parcels to Germany will now have a "Packing List Envelope" adhered to the outside, to appease German Customs. If you are in Germany, your package can be held up in Customs for up to 6 weeks !
