War of the Worlds 1953 gave us an alternative to the tripods depicted in the novel. On one scene in the film you briefly see three green "beams" extending from the ship to the ground implying that they were actually. tripods - the legs were just invisible.

A definitive decision was made by the special effects department not to have the tripods described in the H.G Wells novel as it would be too problematic and stop motion would be too clumsy.

Printed onto sheet aluminium (similar to what a road traffic sign is made from) and available in 3 sizes: A6, A4 and A5. The technique makes the print completely waterproof. Comes with 4 adhesive stickers which will adhere the sign to almost any surface.

I can send anywhere in the UK by Royal Mail.
