Black mother of pearl is inlaid onto the solid brass barrel, then coated in multiple layers of clear lacquer for a protective and glossy finish. These pens have been polished by hand to create a perfectly smooth, round-shaped barrel.
Please note: The mother of pearl panels used may exhibit small, unavoidable surface fissures. This is a natural result of the high-temperature clear coating process. These fissures are under the coating and do not affect the pen’s durability in any way
