From Japan, a country where collectors' editions abound, this item was reissued in 1996 to promote the HIStory Tour. It is a rare souvenir edition. Packed in a white case, this is the only commercial CD including remixes of "Smooth Criminal". At the time of its release, the USA and Europe weren't quite yet totally into the "CD Era": the 12" maxi single still ruled the planet. This is why, today, so many fans search eagerly for CD remixes from this period. On this 5" CD maxi single of "Smooth Criminal", you will find all of the remixed versions of the song ever made : the "Extended Dance Mix", the "Extended Dance Mix Radio Edit", the extraordinary "A Cappella" version (with nothing but Michael's voice), the "Dance Mix - Dub Version" (instrumental remixed version) and the brilliant "Annie Mix". This CD is a superb collector's item, a must for any serious collection.
