Antique Gorham Iron and Silver Dish
Description
A very rare Gorham mixed metal dish, dating to 1883. Japanese in style, constructed from roughly textured and patinated iron. With scalloped edge and applied silver crocodile. Gorham called line of products Banko Ware and produced only a very limited number of pieces in 1883 only. Marked to the underside:
