WAYSIDE FLOWERS, a Collection of Poems, First Edition, 1851, extremely scarce book, no other copies listed anywhere that I can find. Published by a Famous American publishing Company, Ticknor, Reed, and Fields, Boston, Mass, (publishers of Henry Thoreau's Walden and Hawthorne's Scarlet Letter) with their publishing date shown in Roman Numerals that match the date on the copyright page, 1851. 7" x 4 1/2", 276 pages. 

This book has an historical interest, as a former owner included a copy of a letter he or she located in the E. A. Poe Society of Baltimore (copy pictured and enclosed) from Edgar A. Poe to the author agreeing to help her get her book issued as well as a picture and short bio of the author.  ".

Condition is worn, covers are faded, and worn, although the interior pages are in pretty good condition, an easily readable copy. Some of the first few pages and end pages show staining. Please see pictures for the condition of the book.
