This listing is for Oliver, a 1929 travel air model R airplane bank produced by Spec Cast, Dyersville, Iowa, as the first in their limited edition series of plane banks.
Oliver was produced in 1992 and is diecast metal with a sharp green and yellow paint job.
There is a plastic shield over the cockpit; remove it to reveal the coin slot to the bank (please view last 2 photos for clarification).
Although the box shows wear, the plane itself may not have previously been removed from its packaging; it was difficult to extricate from the cardboard for photography purposes.
Very good condition, and a nice start to your collection.
