For sale here is a very nice silver and enamel medal depicting a bird in the central enamel, engraved 'Past President L.P.T.A'. The design is a Cormorant holding some plant in it's mouth, this is likely Liverpool related but the actual association it represents eludes me. It's a very good quality item, well made and enamelled.

Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1987, the bar has the Lion Passant and date letter also. The silver disc is approximately 29 mm in diameter, the length of the entire medal is approximately 66 mm. The condition is very good, minor wear commensurate with age, no more.

Please view the pictures as they form part of the description - if you see something in the picture that I have failed to mention, then please do contact me and I will answer any questions. I try and be as thorough as possible, but like anyone I may miss things, so please contact me and I will furnish any information you need.

Please see my other auctions for more items. To give best value for buyers I am always happy to combine postage (there may be a slight price increase if the weight band/value increases).

There seems to be a trend for testing peoples high bids by bidding then retracting - I understand sometimes wrong amounts are entered, please contact me if you are going to retract, otherwise in fairness to the genuine bidders I will block you.

***Please read below before you bid especially if bidding from outside the UK*** Please note the 2nd Royal Mail price increase!!

The postage quoted is for 2nd Class Recorded within the UK - if an item goes over a value of £45, then postage may have to be via Special Delivery at the buyers cost, which protects both you and I in the event of any loss (please note if you pay prior to me sending an invoice through with the lower rate it will be assumed that you do not want insurance and should there be any loss or damage, then I will not be liable, sorry to be blunt but I have been stung by this recently). The postage is as close to cost as I can get it - Ebays Final Value/Managed Payments fees apply to the postage you pay - £3.70 breaks down as £3.15 (yes they do take nearly 50p to add to their profits) in my hand so after £3.05 for posting, it leaves 10p for envelopes and materials,so please keep this in mind when rating me.

Postage will always be combined, the price might change slightly due to weight/size but I try and keep this to a minimum. The prices for combined postage are estimated and if I have over quoted the cost, then I will always refund any difference, and this is reflected in my good feedback.

International bidders : I no longer post to Italy. Please contact me for an estimate of postage as I have had to put a blanket price for the Ebay policy - as with the UK prices I try and keep as close to cost as I possibly can. For many items it will be cheaper than the £15.00 quoted. If a buyer is intending to delay payment for a reason, then please do let me know - I am very accommodating and understand that people may need to wait a week or so to pay, all I ask is that you let me know, its plain good manners. If no payment is received after 7 days and you haven't contacted me I will reluctantly open a case with Ebay.
