This is a 16 inch, black lacquer acetate coated aluminum, 33 1/3 rpm disc.  This disc was recorded for reference purposes only and not available to the general public

Volk speaking on behalf of The Prudential Insurance Company speaking from the Isabelle Room of The Davenport Hotel in Spokane, WA.  An interesting speech about the growth of the Spokane area, the growth of Washington state and the growth of the western United States due to technology & innovation, etc.  Broadcast on KXLY, Spokane.  15 minutes

May 24, 1949 Paul Rutherford, general manager of the Delco Appliance division of General Motors speaking from The Davenport Hotel in Spokane, WA.  Mr. Rutherford talks about the Spokane market, the economy of Spokane and the availability of land for new homes, and Delco furnaces & appliances.  11 minutes
