This is a beautiful single vintage style copper and brass tap, handmade and water pressure tested. This is made with quite a small tap head, ideally suitable for a small basin perhaps in a cloakroom or camper van. This particular tap is made to a shorter height than our usual pillar taps so would particularly suit an area where height space is an issue, eg. camper vans. This was a cancelled order so is only available in the measurements below and is sold at a lower price than our usual taps due to its short size. This cannot be made to measure, (see our other listings for made to measure taps like this in custom sizes), this is sold as a one off at this size. This tap has an industrial rustic feel with copper pipework and a brass tap head and comes supplied with 3 fitting screws.  All the taps we sell are rustic in design and do not have aerators, so the flow of water is a continuous stream similar to that of an outdoor tap.
FITTING: This tap is fixed by screws from the top, not from a nut underneath, it will not be suitable for a quartz, granite, marble, slate top; they are suitable for wooden and laminate worktops. Please check with your fitter or message for advice before buying if you are unsure. This handmade tap has been well made and has a nicely polished finish. If you prefer the more natural patina of copper and brass then this can be achieved by leaving it unpolished, over time, it will darken to the natural brown copper colour. This is made using a small tap head with 15mm standard UK fittings which is suitable for bathroom basins, small kitchen sinks and camper van conversions but may not be suitable for baths due to its small size. In addition, most baths have a different size pipe connection; check with your plumber first if this is intended for a bath and check the measurements.

DISPATCH TIME on this tap is next working day as it is a cancelled order already made. All our other taps have a 3-5 day dispatch time. See our other Ebay listings for a wide selection of tap styles as well as copper basins and sinks up cycled from French copper jam pans and bowls. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I want a pair of these, do you have more than one?
- As this is a cancelled order, we only have one of these taps.

These measurements are not suitable for me, can the tap be made to my own measurements?
-This tap is sold at a reduced price as it is a cancelled order so the size cannot be changed. We sell these as made to measure taps on our other listings. See listing with a title ending (T27) where you can select you size from a drop down menu.

Do you sell any other style of copper and brass taps?
-Yes we do. See the 'sellers other listings' where you will find 4 or 5 different styles as well as a beautiful mixer tap in copper and brass.

Can I return this if it is not suitable?
We are a small private seller on Ebay so do not accept returns as standard. However, if you do find your purchase unsuitable please contact us and we will do our best to help where we can. We would encourage you to check the measurements carefully and ask questions before buying if you are unsure in order to keep our losses to a minimum.

What size is this tap?
-This tap has a small tap head and is shorter than our usual taps and so would be best suited to a smaller basin or sink, it may be too small for some kitchen sinks, see measurements on the photographs for exact sizes.

The tap head is too small for my requirements, do you sell any chunkier taps?
-Yes we do, this tap is made from a small tap head with 15mm copper pipework, we sell other taps including a chunkier 3/4 inch size version of this tap which has thicker 22mm pipe rather than the standard 15mm. See 'sellers other listings'.

What size is the water inlet pipework for the taps you sell?
-All our taps have the standard 15mm water inlet pipework, this is the pipe below the countertop where the water is connected.

Can your taps be fitted directly into a basin or sink?
-No, none of the taps we sell  fit into basin or sink pre cast holes. These are designed to fit onto a countertop. They are fitted by screwing the brass base into the top of the counter from above using the screws provided. They are not fitted using back nuts.

Are your taps suitable for a bath?
-The taps we sell will be suitable for some baths, although this style is generally sold for basins and sinks firstly because the tap head is too small for a bath and secondly as they have a water inlet pipe which is 15mm. Some baths, particularly in older houses have a water inlet pipe of 22mm. Please check with your plumber or fitter if you are unsure of your pipe size if you are buying for a bath.

Can your taps be fitted to a quartz, slate or marble type counter top?
-No, unfortunately they cannot be fitted to this type of worktop as they are fitted from above and these type of countertops would not take the small drill holes required. We are looking to develop taps for these types of counters but this is still in the design stage.

Can your taps be fitted in a camper van?
-Yes our taps can be fitted in a camper van, we have sold many of these for camper van and horse box conversions. Camper van pipework is usually smaller than standard 15mm so you will need to use a reducing fitting to join to the inlet pipe. These are readily available at any plumbers or DIY merchant.

Can the taps you sell be used outdoors?
-Yes, all the taps we sell are suitable for outdoor use.

How do I connect your taps to my water inlet under my sink or basin?
-All our taps are sold as complete tap fittings which have the standard UK 15mm copper pipe attached below the counter where they are fitted. Your water inlet pipes can be attached to the tail ends by soldering, compression fittings or push fit fitments.

How often will I need to polish my tap to keep it shiny and what should I use?
- Copper and brass are metals that naturally tarnish over time if left unpolished. A quick buff up every week or 2 will keep them shiny. We use Brasso wadding to keep our taps shiny. This is available at most supermarkets. Rub some wadding over the taps, let it dry for 15 minutes and buff it off with a yellow duster. If you would prefer the more rustic natural brown patina of copper then leave them unpolished and this colour will develop over time.

When will my order arrive?
-As this is a cancelled order it is ready to dispatch by Royal Mail Tracked the next working day after purchase.

I have another question or I need some more advice about what tap to buy, can you help?
-Yes we can. These are made by Martin who is a gas engineer and plumber. He is more than happy to answer questions regarding tap size, style and fitting. Please message us via Ebay messages.
