Warm greetings from Japan. Thank you very much for visiting our listing.

This is a 1976 Fender USA Mustang bass mocha brown.
Probably it's a bass with a simple and solid sound, and a rare mocha brown body that is compact but has a strong presence.
Comes with a precious silver hard case from that time.
The sound through the amp is a little bumpy and crunchy when you turn the volume and tone pots, but it's in good condition considering its age.
There is no problem with the pickup and jack.
The frets are about 60% overall.
The neck is visually straight. I didn't touch the truss rod because there was no need to adjust the neck at the moment.
The string height is 2mm ( .07 inch ) for the 12th fret 6th string and 1.9mm ( .07 inch ) for the 1st string.
All the set screws on the bridge saddle turn.
The knob of the 1st string peg is slightly bent.
There is a small hole in the lower left screw part of the 4th string peg.
There is a peeling in the wood on the 2nd string peg post.
There are marks , dents, and paint peeling throughout the body.
There are discoloration and marks on the head.
There are dents on the back of the neck.
There is discoloration on metal parts such as pegs, bridges, and screws.
The hardware of the hard case is attached in one place.
The strings are brand new D'Addario EXL170M.
The hard case has signs of use overall and there is a lot of discoloration on the metal fittings.
The color is lighter due to the weather and the camera app, but it is a darker brown.
