Charles Horner (born in 1837, died in 1896),
the original founder of the jewellery business,
achieved much in his 59 years.
With his innovative designs and undoubted marketing skills,
he laid the foundations of a thriving business,
which survived two world wars.
It finally went into voluntary liquidation in 1984,
at a time when a large sector of British manufacturing industry disappeared.
This is 8cm in length and the silver head has a Crystal or Glass Top
Chester Hallmark and date letter e for 1903
Lovely condition and would have been cut down from a much longer pin
It comes with a more recent end protector.
Would look lovely on your Dior or Hermes jacket
