Jackson X Series Soloist SLXT Gloss Black 2017 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Jackson X Series Soloist SLXT in Gloss Black finish. Made in Indonesia in 2017, this guitar features a Graphite reinforced neck-through construction which comprises a Basswood body, Maple neck and 24 Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Black hardware including Jackson Sealed Die-Cast tuning machines and a Jackson TOM-Style through body bridge. The pickups installed are a pair of Duncan Designed humbuckers with a Duncan Designed alnico HB-103N in the neck and a Duncan Designed high-output ceramic HB-103B, these are wired to a 3-way blade selector, master volume and a master tone control.

The Maple neck plays well, with Jackson’s 'Speed Neck' profile feeling nicely slim in the hand whilst remaining substantial enough to sustain a comfortable grip for chord playing. The neck is certainly aimed at the more technically-minded player, and facilitates fast lead lines easily. The 12"-16" compound radius offers a rounder surface in the lower register for chord playing and transitions smoothly to a flatter surface as you climb the register. This ensures that the playing surface is tailored to the needs of the musician across the range. The use of Jumbo frets assists with smooth string bending and vibrato techniques and provides a rock-solid playing experience.

Amplified, this guitar has a thick low end grunt and sculpted mid range thanks to its pair of  Duncan Designed pickups. The Duncan Designed high-output ceramic HB-103B bridge pickup incorporates a massive ceramic magnet and hot coil windings to deliver powerful but balanced rock and metal tones with rich upper-midrange harmonic content. The low strings are tight and the high strings scream with harmonics, making it a go-to pickup for hard-hitting crunch rhythms and blazing lead tones. The Duncan Designed alnico HB-103N in the neck position offers all the soloing clarity you could wish for, with sweet sustain and a warm, full sound that still possesses a clear attack providing a hot output delivering smooth, fluid solo tones under gain, while still being capable of bell-like clean tones.
