Serviced Meyer Optik Gorlitz DOMIRON 50/2 Exa/Exakta Lens w/ Metallic Caps

A rare vintage lens (1961) produced in low quantities, sophisticated construction with floating elements. Shows excellent creative wide-open capabilities (bubbly bokeh, great colors, painterly drawing) as demonstrated under the item gallery.

Item condition: an item used previously, works. CLA'd by a prof. technician (05/2024). Item shows some slight patina (signs of use) from previous use on the chassis (ie. local aluminium surface eloxation typical for vintage Meyers). Mechanically perfect run, operates completely as meant to operate (no missing or broken parts). Glasses are reasonably clean with no significant defects, commensurate to its age (a spot here and there, a micro-scratch here and there, etc.), no mold or fungus marks, no usual haze (fog). On the other hand, some glued elements? may seem somewhat scuffy or foggy at the corners under a strong light test (torch test). I assume this to have zero impact on photos as the visibility is borderline under a normal light conditions. Perfect aperture blade condition. This lens is a copy without typical balsam separations/flaws between the glued elements ('ornamental flowers' resembling artifacts in the optics).

Accessories: two newly added metallic (good quality) lens caps.

Shipping: the item may be shipped expedited way via EU or to UK, US, CAN with adequate insurance and tracking (1-3 day door-to-door delivery with notifications). Other countries would be shipped slower way (but still somewhat trackable) via Czech Post (usually takes 1-2 weeks). Please quote for further details if you consider it necessary.
