Wow,

These are a statement pair of door handles.

The handle itself is wonderfully captured by the two ends which hold it securely through a "hook and eye" construction. These form the base plate which are a geometric pillar of rectangles.

The geometries of the base plates and the free flowing "hook and eye" support  take influence from both art deco and art noveau.

They have a lovely rose gold colour to them, and whilst I prefer the older tarnished patina, I would have these on my hall way doors because they scream quality and the contrast of the rose gold bronze base plate to the warmer yellow bronze handle sets these off perfectly.

The rusty looking base plates show these are really peroid items which have just been pride of place and lovingly cleaned. Signs of a founders mark or registration mark.

Why buy brand new when you can have a pair of door handles that show years of soft warm wear which give rise to this amazing patina. These door handles would go into any project or installation you desired, giving that talking point and instant continued history. 

All my door handles are reclaimed, so please expect them to show signs of wear and age.
