An early Mason's Patent Ironstone plate, sometimes called 'Vase and Rock' or 'Pekin Vase' from about 1813-1818.

Has typical blue/grey underglaze and then the front is handpainted with a variety of lovely colors.

Impressed, on the back, with 'Mason's Patent Ironstone China' linear mark/stamp.

This is an original antique porcelain plate with a colorful chinoiserie design made by James Mason in the early 19th century. The plate features a picturesque scene of a vase, rocks and flora in multi-colors. 

CONDITION: I took lots of close up photos and it is in remarkable condition. Very little wear and a few light scratches on the Vaswe and the larger red flower (in the center).  No chips or cracks to my knowledge.

MEASUREMENTS: measures 10" across.
