Beautiful Victorian/Edwardian style coat from Topshop’s premium range. Features flared sleeves and a high-low hem to mimic a riding coat. Fitted waist with a full, swishy skirt. Asymmetric double breasted front with large collar and seam details. Absolutely gorgeous piece — only selling as I have lost a lot of weight and was lucky enough to find the same coat in a smaller size!

This is the black version of this coat, not the charcoal grey that some have listed as black. Please note that as far as I know, this coat originally had belt loops with a wide black grosgrain ribbon tie belt. I bought this secondhand myself and the previous owner had removed the belt loops and did not include the belt. Personally I think that the coat is fitted enough to not need a belt and I wore it happily without one, but I like to be as transparent as possible with my listings so I wanted to make this known especially if this is a style you have been looking for. It would be easy enough to have some black felted wool belt loops added — I could also send you the loops from my own smaller coat so please message me if you would like me to send you them. There is no damage to the item where the belt loops have been removed and it is in excellent condition especially for its age. (Definitely coming up on vintage status!) The only flaw I can see is some slight discolouration to the white Topshop label which is obviously not visible when the coat is worn. Coming from a smoke-free home.
