Up for sale are a beautiful set of Jaguar XK8/XKR (X100) Alloy Wheels, from towards the end of the production run 2004/5, when the standard alloy size increased in diameter.
They are by far are a far superior and a more modern wheel than the previous 18" models like the Flutes, Impellers, Arris etc. They have the usual PCD of 120.6 for these models and are a straight swap over, but fill the wheel arches better. The added advantage of these are that unlike the 19" Apollo these fit over and clear Brembo callipers without spacers so are a pretty good choice for the R Specification models. (see photos).
These wheels are in exceptional condition, and were refurbished at South West Alloys in JLR Silver Sparkle a couple of years ago. They've barely been used used since (as I usually run my XK on BBS 20" wheels). They went on my XK last summer and have done less than 1000 miles on them. 2 of the tyres were fitted then (as can be seen by the tread depth) The other 2 have a significant amount of tread depth left (see photos).
This is a significant modernisation upgrade for older XK8s, at a very reasonable cost and a fraction of what these would cost new. Please don't confuse these with cheaper listings, selling off a set of wheels that need refurbishing with scrap tyres. The work has been done already and these are near perfect. The Pirelli P Zero Rosso Tyres alone would cost more than £800 to replace new and there is barely a blemish to see on the wheels. The wheels have been cleaned since the photos were taken so can take more photos if needed.
The first to see them will buy them. Collection only as I want the buyer to be satisfied that the wheels are in good order before they take them rather than getting damaged in transit. FYI the Centre Caps in the photos are not included with the sale.
