Ibanez ATK 300 Black 2007 Electric Bass

Here for sale we have an Ibanez ATK 300 Electric Bass from 2007 in Black finish. Made in Indonesia, this bass features an Ash body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include an ATK4 bridge, and a ATK triple coil pickup with a 3-band EQ, a master volume, and a 3-way ‘character’ toggle switch.

The semi-gloss finish neck plays well, feeling thin and easy in the hand, while still retaining a pleasant 'C' shape. The 1.625" nut width gives comfortable string spacing, without feeling too oversized, and the dual cutaways give great access to the upper register. The 9.5” radius Maple fingerboard provides a comfortable playing surface, which allows for different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing.

The ATK triple coil pickup offers a broad range of tones, with a tight and modern voicing, giving deep yet controlled lows, a thumping midrange that cuts without feeling overly forward, along with clear and articulate highs. The 3-band EQ gives great control in terms of sculpting the tone, while the 5-way switch offers a broad variety of tonal options.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the front face, only visible under direct light from certain angles.

Neck: Overall very good condition. Very light denting is present to the rear of the neck, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the higher register and can not be felt under the finger in playing position.

Body: Overall very good condition. Very light scratching is present to the front face, rear face and lower bout side edge. This is most noticeable across the lower bout on the rear face.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
