For auction today is a lovely and unusually small photo locket/pendant hallmarked silver and dating to 1978, this piece does not come with a chain. Overall the silver is in good condition apart from the very small wear near the hallmarks, it measures approx: under half an inch across and approx: a little over half an inch tall. The hinge works well and the two sides close nicely. There is no dust covers for the photographs but these can be made by hand with clear plastic. One face of the piece has a leafy pattern to it and on the other side it has the hallmarks.
The hallmarks are as follows: Anchor mark for Birmingham assay office, Lion passant for silver, and date letter "D" for 1978. On top of these hallmarks is also stamped with "Sterling Silver AM.
