For sale here is:

An amazing craftsman-made oak revolving bookcase.

This stands 2 metres high including the base.

But the case is only 51.8 cm wide meaning it takes up a very small amount of floor space relative to the amount of books it can hold.

As well as revolving, the case sits on a base that moves on strong castors: so it can be moved across a room easily even when loaded up.

The case is really well constructed - the material is solid oak edging for the sides of the case and edges of the shelves. The shelves and back are surfaced with a very good and deep oak veneer.

Has 24 shelves, 20 of which are removable and adjustable to any height. Can easily accommodate 500+ books.

Measurements:

2 m high including base. Top section is 184.5 cm high without the base, from which it separates for transport.

Each side is 51.8cm wide.

The removable shelves are 34cm wide and 12.6cm deep.

The revolving case itself has four sides. The base is octagonal. The top revolves on a system of ball bearings- which actually uses golf balls.

Very good condition. Has a couple of countersunk holes on the bottom shelves that look like they might have been used to mount something.

Extremely well made - far better quality than most bookcases.

For collection only from London, Colney, St Albans - very close to M25.

The top part requires two people to carry: I can give you a hand moving it to your vehicle.
