A rare opportunity to own a solid gold Mark Provincial Officer's jewel with a gold Lewis to the Keystone.

This beautiful jewel was made by George Kenning and is marked G.K 9ct on the ribbon hangers which dates it to pre 1896 as after that date they were marked G.K and S. Therefore it is at least 128 years old!

These solid gold hangers are 27mm wide, with a gilded (not gold) mallet and chisel bisecting them.

The very large keystone measures 38mm high, including the bale, with a width of 22mm at the top tapering down to 14mm. It is further adorned by a 9ct gold (tested) Lewis making this a spectacular jewel.

It is fitted with a fine Provincial watersilk ribbon, but I can supply a new length of member's ribbon if required.

Fitted in a contemporary deep burgundy coloured G. Kenning and Son case in excellent order.

A jewel anybody would be proud to wear.
