Tamron 85-210mm f4.5 Macro Zoom Lens with Choice of Mount
for use with a SLR, DSLR or Mirrorless Digital Camera

Classic full manual, macro zoom lens with real glass multi coated optics that can be used on a DSLR with an adaptor and right camera settings - a cost effective way to get a nice zoom lens your DSLR or mirrorless camera for the holidays or that trip.

This lens is a Tamron Adaptall 2 mount lens - so adapters are readily available and relatively inexpensive for almost all SLR cameras and most DSLRs, and mirrorless cameras - just type the make of your camera and Tamron Adaptall into eBay, Google (or your favourite search engine)

You will need to use the fully manual mode on your digital camera (called shoot without lens on some cameras) and or auto shutter mode and set the aperture on the lens manually, and you should soon be taking some fantastic pictures.

The focal length of this lens (85-210mm) is for a 35mm SLR film camera so when it is used on a digital camera the apparent focal length increases due to the relative size of the digital image sensor, plus you are using the more accurate central part of the lens, giving better results.
Compared to a 35mm SLR the apparent focal length increases on a digital camera, as follows:
a 85-210mm lens on 35mm SLR = 136-336mm on DSLR or 170-420mm on mirrorless camera.

This one is a good clean used example of this popular lens, it has some sings of light use (see photos) but defiantly nothing that would affect the performance. The optics are clean, clear and free from any fungus, marks or scratches, the aperture blades snap freely into place, the focus and zoom are smooth and precise with the right resistance and its built in lens hood stays in place as it should, it comes with both the Tamron lens caps and original lens case.

Supplied with one of the following camera mount - Original Tamron: Olympus (OM), Pentax (M42) or Pentax K mount, Canon (FD) or after market Canon (EOS) or Micro 4/3 - message when paying

The views of the building (at each extreme of the zoom) and the close-ups (macro) where taken with this actual lens on a Micro 4/3 mirrorless digital camera and the wider view of the two buildings was taken on the same camera (same spot, different day) with a standard 50mm lens to show the relative magnification and they are all full frame (not cropped) but may not be full resolution (ebay seems to resizes photos)

Note: the winning bidder is welcome to save the postage and packing by collecting in person and paying in cash. If you wish to send your own courier company to collect (or export) there will be a charge of £6 to cover packing.
