The Sandwich Weed Flower is a variation on the French Pansy, but with color variations.

 

A Pansy-type flower with Red and White striped lower petals and Blue upper petals is attributed to the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company (commonly referred to as "Sandwich").  The flower has a complex millefiori cane center and is set with a stem and Green leaves, and rests on a Red/White jasper ground.  The paperweight is 2-15/16" in diameter and 1-3/4" high.  There is only a little very light wear to the dome and appropriate wear to the base rim confirming the age.  Condition is excellent to near perfect.
