I'm offering a rare and most unusual set of MATRYOSHKA nesting dolls

RONALD McDONALD on one side and a RUSSIAN WOMAN on the other

I have never seen a similar set previously

These are vintage and completely hand made in Russia

Likely circa 1970s

Set of 3

Beautiful patina on the rich bright coloured paint

They measure 4 1/2”, 3 3/8” and 2 5/8” tall;l

The smallest has a small split in the side of the thin wood (common with the vintage Matryoshka dolls)

Each has pencilled numbers on the inside (see photo)

Rare to find and would make a perfect addition to your Matryoshka or McDonald collection
