The optics appear to be in perfect condition; I can't find any signs of dust particles or fungus. It looks like new, just as it did when I bought it used. I'm selling it because ever since I got a zoom lens F2.8, I haven't used this one.All sample photos were taken at F2.8, directly in JPG format on a Fujifilm S3 Pro. Sharpness improves when shooting at smaller apertures, but I wanted to show its performance in the worst-case scenario. The screwdriver-type autofocus only works with F-mount bodies that have an integrated motor, such as Nikon DF, D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7XX, D6XX, D8XX, D50, D70, D90, D7XXX, D100, D200, D300, and derivatives, as well as Fujifilm S1, S2, S3.The lens body shows minimal signs of use; in my possession, it has never been bumped or dropped, always transported in a padded case and stored in a room with a dehumidifier where I keep all my lenses. It's worth noting that the cosmetic ring on the front, if examined very closely in direct sunlight, may show signs of apparent cracking due to aging, which it had when I bought it and hasn't worsened because it's purely cosmetic and doesn't undergo stress from movement. It's practically imperceptible; that's why I've taken a photo of the front with a macro lens to show it. Still, when mounted on the camera, it looks new from a normal distance.I also include rear and front caps to protect the lens, but they are not original. Additionally, it focuses with the same agility as my other Nikon 50mm F1.8 D lens.
