Vintage, original (1917) "St. Franciscus Gebarenspel Den Haag" (religious theatrical play in the Hague) Dutch stone-litho poster featuring incredible Art Nouveau-inspired artwork and typography by Theodorus Molkenboer. This striking poster is being offered in very good, Japanese paper-backed condition with bright colours and no problematic paper loss, stains or creases, but with a mended tear in the bottom-centre margin and light edge wear from storage and handling. The Japanese paoer backing has been trimmed to the poster's edge. 43.125" x 29.25".
