RICHARD WAGNER -AN ORCHESTRAL ADVENTURE- EDO DE WAART  3 CD SET

Over 20 years composer and arranger Henk de Vlieger  made orchestral versions of the operas of Richard Wagner at the request of distinguished Dutch conductor Edo de Waart. This 3-CD set brings together his arrangements of the music from the four operas that make up the cycle known as "The Ring", "Tristan and Isolde", and "Parsifal". These recordings feature de Waart himself conducting the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra..

Classics Today. com recommended  Edo de Waart's  recordings   '..... de Waart’s set provides an opportunity to experience this music in a more or less congruent manner without requiring you to sit through (some would say endure) the complete operas. For that, and for the largely compelling performances (and first-rate recorded sound), it earns a solid recommendation. '

The box set of 3 CDs also includes a hard back book of 118 pages of notes( in English, French , Dutch  and German) and photos .
All is in excellent condition with the jewel cases, CDs and, inserts and books all looking like they have never been out of the slip case (except  they have for me to carefully  photograph them - see photos),
The slip case is also in excellent condition though you can just make out a few slight indents in the cardboard if you hold it in strong light. May easily have already been there when bought.

This set comes from an extensive personal collection.
