Nikon Speedlight SB-E Flash Unit EM FM & FE Spares Or Repairs - Battery Issue

This Nikon SB-E looks in excellent condition, but I have installed batteries in, and it just will not work.

I do not know if it will only work when plugged into the Camera, I haven't been able to test that far.

Comes with the Hot Shoe Mount and Cable, and a Faux Leather Case.

Who knows it might work for someone who knows what they're doing.

Battery contacts look clear of any corrosion. It could be that I have simply put the batteries in the wrong order.
