Vintage Hmong Miao Hill Tribe Coin Silver Torque Cuff Bracelet 7.25"

Elegantly fashioned, this tribal torque was made by the Hmong Miao hill tribe people of Laos. At 30.4 grams of 75% silver, it is a substantial wrist piece. The Hmong are well known for their love of silver and the impressive skills of their silversmiths. This piece is flared with a tapered dome which has a design similar of snakeskin, highlighted with decoration on each side and finished with decorated hanging silver balls at the ends.
It measures 7.25" including the 1.1" opening and, because it is 75% silver, has very little give for sizing. Cuff is .3" thick, flattened on the underside for comfort of wear, and has a .25" rise on the tapered dome.
A rare and cherished piece of history and art that would also go well with BOHO and Scandinavian themed collections.
