Welcome to our listing! Up for sale is the Teenage Engineering Op-1, a versatile 4-track portable synth, sampler, and sequencer. This is the original version, purchased by me when it first came out. It has been exclusively used and meticulously cared for over the last decade, maintaining great cosmetic condition with only minor blemishes from normal use. Notably, there's a very small chip on the left side (visible in the second photo) and some minor marks on the back, as well as signs of wear on the rubber feet at the bottom.

Operationally, the unit is in great condition, with all buttons and knobs functioning as expected. There are two notable operational points to mention. Firstly, the power button is sensitive, so it's important to handle it with care to avoid unintentional shutdowns. However, this isn't a significant issue as the unit automatically saves in real-time.

Secondly, there appears to be a short in the audio output. To ensure proper audio output, you may need to angle the audio cable when plugged into the audio out jack. My workaround has been to adjust the position of the audio cable around the unit to ensure correct contact inside the jack. Alternatively, you can utilize the audio over USB function available with the latest OS update.

Included with this unit is the original USB cable. Additionally, I'm including the Teenage Engineering carrying case (valued at $80) and a high-quality wooden desk stand called the "OP-1 Lux Desk Stand" from Mixing Table (valued at $129). You will also notice that I've upgraded the 4 rotary knobs and volume knobs with the superior Perfect Circuit knobs.
