Description
**Sansui AU-9500 has been in stock for a long time. The enclosure has been opened and dust has been blown away. The gold rim part was polished up nicely. The front panel has some scratches and scuffs commensurate with its age. Still, the black body has a nice atmosphere and period look. The back panel has some rust in some areas, but it is still in good working order. Thank you.
The Sansui AU-9500, released in Japan in 1972 during the “Golden Era” of high-fidelity Japanese audio equipment, is a vintage integrated amplifier of exceptional quality. The AU-9500 offers a rated output of 75W + 75W (8 Ohms) The amp features a stable, direct-connected OCL pure complementary circuit, with total harmonic distortion (THD) of <0.1%. The AU-9500, by its exceptional quality and circuitry, is a critically acclaimed unit among vintage audiophiles. As well as a parallel push-pull circuit for clean high output. Power is supplied independently to the power stages of each channel. Finally, the power and pre-drive stages feature separated power supplies, while the pre-drive stage is run at a higher voltage, for a stable drive absent of load fluctuations. The AU-9500 has 2x phono inputs, With these features and even more innovations, the AU-9500 remains a superb amplifier. Everything about this amp spells quality, with its precise, thoughtful construction, solid aluminum knobs, and modern appearance.
This unit is in good condition (please see photos), with some expected signs of age, including some scratches rust, and scuffs. Our professional in-house technician has thoroughly tested and checked it, confirming its flawless working quality.
