This vintage Mercedes-Benz transistor radio is a true gem for any collector. Made in Japan with the model number 803, it exudes a retro charm that is hard to resist. The radio was tested with a 9 Volt battery. Turns on by rotating the Mercedes emblem on top to the right. Radio frequencies are changed by turning the dial below emblem. NOTE: I was able to hear a clicking sound from speakers when turned on but was unable to get any AM signal. Unsure of operability beyond knowing that with battery there was power to turn on and off. Battery is included.
