Copepods are an essential element of the food chain and critical to the life of Goby’s, Dragonet's, Sea Horses, and other Marine Life that tend to feed on the tiny Copepod organisms. Once your tank is seeded with Copepods, daily dosing of Live Phytoplankton will ensure the extended life and reproduction of the pods, so definitely check out our Live Phytoplankton to add to your order!

If you're wondering what feeds on Copepods, please use this list as a quick reference for how it can be beneficial for your reef tank ecosystem.

The photos shown in the listing are for reference only! Each order will be freshly bottled from the large Copepod culture tank and not pre-bottled or refrigerated. We guarantee live arrival of our pods!

Before leaving negative feedback, please let us help you with any concerns. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction here at Florida Reef Labs and want nothing but the best experience for our customers!

We ship all copepods in an insulated bag with cold/heat packs to ensure alive arrival. Due to colder temperatures, the copepods may go into a hibernation state (not moving/or slowly moving). Please allow them to remain in room temperature for 1 hour before use. If your copepods appear to be dead on arrival (DOA), please contact us and provide a photo AND video of the pods, along with original packaging (bottle and shipping container) WITHIN 4 HOURS of delivery.
