I bought this rod with the intention of using it in West Wales for shore Tope but for me with hindsight was extreme overkill. I don't have the casting skills to put this rod to good use, and I will be honest, 90% of people haven't. 

Most that view this listing will know all about it, but for those that don't, do a little research before considering a rod like this. To cut a long story short this rod is a beast, the first fishing rod in the world to cast a line over 300 yards, hence the name Wr300. It's EXTREMELY stiff and very hard to cast well without the required Pendulum casting skills.

Cost me more than £500

I took the rod to the beach once since I have had it but it never got used, not even a test cast. Aside from a little surface rust on the coaster knurlings from storage it's perfect., like new.

Comes with correct Century Blue rod holdall.
