This daguerreotype features a pretty young lady wearing a beautiful blue and red tinted plaid dress. 

The 1/6 plate is not sealed but there are remnants of the original seals and the half case measures about 3.25 x 3.75 inches. Most of the dust specks are on the glass and not the plate itself.
